The Gateway to the Future
The "etkon_visual" software that is supplied with the etkon "es1" scanner allows quick and simple modeling of crowns, bridges, caps and pontics.
Our customers' differing requirements, demands and financial considerations are as numerous as our customers themselves. This is why we have made our system as flexible as possible, while always maintaining our high technological standards.

New software features and elements are developed together with dental laboratories. The user-friendliness is optimized with detailed user instructions: the user is led through consecutive self-explanatory steps. A taskbar to the left of the screen makes user guidance easier. This taskbar lists all of the steps that will be carried out. A green arrow acts as a "progress manager", leading the user through the whole construction procedure. Any user, even those with no computing experience, can achieve successful results in no time. |

The jaw arrangement can be vividly presented by an arrangement model for simple and exact modeling of the restoration. The end arrangement model and the stump model are scanned and the wax-up image is placed over the stump model. |

After the preparation is scanned, the inlay forms are defined and cut out. A semi-automatic sharp-edge-detection feature makes the task considerably easier. The form is automatically factored into the preparation in modeling mode. |

For even better bridge statics, the bars are automatically merged with soft transitions to the caps and pontics. Tension points and sharp corners are thus avoided.
